In the House of Commons this morning Theresa May said negotiations could take more than two years – the length of time prescribed under the EU’s Article 50

Thats been spoken of many times that it's set out for two years but might take longer, representatives of the EU said it. Probably because they know it will take the EU about five years to decide whether they are having tea or coffee at the talks.
