I'm glad to have read that his peers reported him for two reasons... 1) It was reported. 2) That those details even were printed by the press.

Personally, I think this officer should be charged. They can and do ask for additional charges to be filed against inmates when they throw piss, defecated material or other bodily fluids onto detention officers, which happens more than you think. It is considered an assault since it is a transfer of bodily fluids, which carries some medical risk.

We get letters from the State of Texas and the insurance companies for Workman's comps. My husband usually has to talk to them by phone to resolve it, so they are usually taken relatively seriously.
