We do not yet know the cause of this, we are still not 100% sure of the drivers identity and what the political motivation was. We know it was a deliberate attack, but we do not know why at this stage, all we have is speculation.

What is your solution to the problem, let everybody die in the sea, keep the refugees in lands where they are being bombed to oblivion with the full support of western governments? You think it's ok when the USA go in and murder innocent people, you say nothing about that, and when it creates a power vaccum and this happens, you still forget the responsibility our governments had in creating this.

How do you sleep at night ?
Send them to the first safe country where they are supposed to go. But it clearly isn't just safety they want is it? How convenient that few supporters of mass migration mention this.

Do you seriously expect this little island to take in everyone who wants to come here? I think you need a reality check!

Do you sleep ok when people have died at the hands of people who took advantage of our ridiculous open door policy?

You can take the moral high ground all you like but we are not responsible for providing for the whole world.

This is as simplistic as it is blinkered, refugees cannot and should not all remain in one area, those who made decisions have to be accountable for the results of their actions.

As I stated in another thread our island mentality is what creates issues with people coming in, however it never extends in the reverse, we have no problem with us going wherever we please :/

We have made the decision that we want to take back control of our borders. What actions are we accountable for?

There is no comparison with skilled, educated people emigrating to countries where their skills are in demand to the taking in of masses of people who we know nothing about, many of whom don't speak English, particularly in these difficult political and economical times - no comparison whatsoever. Absurd comparison.

Control of our borders? that won't happen, we need cheap labour therefore a steady stream is required,

Of course it will happen. We can still get cheap labour at the same time as having control of our borders, we just won't have to let any Tom,dick , Harry or Isis supporter in.

One point of Brexit for many was not just locking the borders and not letting anyone in.But taking in the skills(or lack of) that we need.Just to have control of who we are letting in.If we need doctors and nurses then lets bring them in and let's not discriminate against the rest of the world in favour of Europeans(which is what the inward looking EU does),If we need unskilled labourers then let's bring them in with equal chance for everyone wherever they are from.
The point is that we decide who we need.Eastern European countries with low wages joining the EU one by one and flocking here with us not being able to control it is not what the country needs. That just drives our wages down and keeps many of our own people out of work.
