I prefer their CBB11 stint because i found them amazing but i'm enjoying a different side to them for now. They would be criticised if they came in and did the same thing throughout but now they are not against the house which feels weird.

We know and 'they' know that Speidi is way ahead of James C (nice enough as he is) in the entertainment department. It's so ridiculous to think otherwise I don't know how anyone can even be bothered to argue the point.

Oh give over, you are having a laugh. James may be a nice man, but I've never seen anyone, ever, on BB or CBB who has done less or spoken less than he has.

Exactly! I'm shook that there is eight pages of debate over whether he's boring or not when he quite obviously is

That was all James and therefore entirely different to Sam.
You could of course argue though that the only reason this discussion is happening, and that that moment happened, is because the producers once again concocted some pointless twist and he just so happened to fall victim to it. If it had been Jamie who picked Kim, for example, would people now be here arguing that he's caused all this outrage and is thus entertaining? I don't think so

As I've said before, if you require a task or a twist as a platform to create a storyline or a 'moment' for yourself, you aren't a very good housemate

That's not true actually, when I saw my ex housemate the other day we got talking about this series and she said she's been surprised by how much she likes Speidi this time around and found the opening/closing door thing hilarious, as well as Spencer's facial expressions during arguments (which I agree with Amy about, that's another thing that's funny)

Spill it

Part of Speidi's appeal is also their ~mystery~, whether this is the real them, they're toning themselves down deliberately, whether their last appearance was all an act or they really are just dickheads, whether they're going to suddenly appear in the latter weeks of this series, what their game is etc etc etc. Granted I still want them to actually do something, but you don't get the same thing with James...he's just...a nice guy...that's there...

Then you've clearly not been watching for very long and have a short attention span.

In which case, a motor mouth with no volume control will be much more satisfactory for you.

Yes, that's exactly what I think. This forum always does it.
He was even a "better housemate than I thought" for simply jumping out of bed for being called a chicken livered bugger.

Then it's impossible for any housemate to be so since every single moment (particularly in the shorter CBBs rather than the BBs) is part of some task, or manufactured in some way by producers. Not one episode this series has something not been going on.

That's not technically true, Speidi chose to steal the water bottles for the hell of it, Kim's been starting arguments for **** knows what, Jedward pissed Jamie off just through being themselves, James J argued with Austin because of his personality, etc etc

Kim is an anomaly. She makes arguments about nothing hilarious because of her sharp wit and killer tongue.

Normally it's boring ala Austin and James Jordan.

Also, can I ask what was so great about the water bottles.

Austin overreacting because he thought it was his moment to make them seem villainous and he'd be the hero in the viewers eyes was mildly amusing for two minutes but apart from that....

But they are arguing off their own back, not as the result of a twist or whatever

The fact that Austin took the bait so badly after everyone including him had spent the first few days discussing how Speidi were gonna try and wind people up and they needed to not rise to it and play them at their own game

And also 'I didn't realise it was Austin's water, called Austin's H2O' is legitimately one of the funniest non-Kim quotes of the series made even funnier by the fact it was such a blatantly antagonistic comment and Austin left the room screaming

Yes, look at me pretending James C is something he isn't and making up complete lies about his personality.

You honestly believe what you said about Speidi to be true?
