They were scared of Conor is the unfortunate reason for that, though. For different reasons when it came down to it. Luke A was genuinely intimidated by him, Adam had a rough / violent past that he had left behind and so was scared to go down a confrontational route. Conor was quite blatantly a genuinely aggressive guy.
Plus... Deana was the toughest of the three of them, she didn't really need sticking up for
