Wasn't it Nicola Sturgeon who said she wouldn't allow it to be means tested in Scotland and all pensioners would still get it ,i don't think May had much of a say in that.

she had to know that Sturgeon wouldn't go for it, how much more austerity are England and Wales going to suck up before there is a backlash, bucket loads it seems ...
