Oh no, he means that they all want the wealth and privilege of being "satellite royals", but no one actually wants the crown. Luckily for Harry, he drops further down the hereditary chain the more babies Kate pops out... It's unlikely that he'd ever have to take on the role.

To be fair to him a lot of those responses about "the magic" and "the people of Britain and the world needing it" seem like stock PR stuff... I sort of suspect Harry is quite skeptical about all of it really.

The land owned personally by the family is worth billions anyway. Even if they did do away with monarchy and the palaces and castles, they would still be some of the wealthiest individuals on the planet.
