Hopefully the Love Island stans will have withdrawal symptoms and flock to CBB20 in their droves. But this probs won't happen because channel 5 are thick and will launch it when LI is still on or like 1 day after with no promotion.

If they had sense they would extend it as much as Love Island extends their series and let them continue damaging civilian as much as it has done and keep CBB20 way out of it's way.

Love Island may be doing amazingly this year, but they could easily plummet in the ratings next year if the cast is sh*t.

That's why it's stupid to just give up on BB - when it just needs somebody who actually understands the format to take control.

Yeah. Give it new management who know what what they're doing (diehard fans basically), take it right Back to Basics and if it really doesn't pick up then we know that it's not watched anymore. I want to know that with better production and with a format that appeals to superfans, it'll improve.

It had a good run on Ch5 at least, spanning 7 years, which is close to the 11 years on Channel 4.

13 Celebrity seasons and 7 regular seasons.

Gut check: ITV2 will take it after a year off the air, alongside the US/Canada show for off season

I *could* see them switching to US format, given it'll be very similar to many of ITV's other reality shows.
