I remember school just going so quickly for me, by the time I got to 4th and 5th year I was like "Where did it go?" as before that it was a case of getting through school rather than looking back through my past or thinking about my future.

For the first couple of years at secondary school, I was of a mental age to still be at primary school and didn't always understand what was expected of me, but by 3rd and 4th year I felt I had started to grow up a lot and that became noticeable, people felt I had started to open up a bit more and have more adult conversations, as well as think about my career options more. I suppose doing A-levels afterwards gave me a bit more time in school to catch up as well, I was doing more for myself by the time I'd had a term in sixth-form than I'd ever done in 5 years of secondary school.

I think both primary and secondary were good learning experiences for me and a chance to grow up and learn about life in general.

But then you would have to go through all of secondary school again LONG.

I often used to find myself wishing that, but these days I do like being at school. I think that's partly because I'm in my last year now, so I know I've got a lot to aim for and then hope to achieve it within the space of a few months. It has put things into perspective a little bit.

I wouldn't want to stress myself out too much though because I get easily stressed in that sort of frame of mind. Once it's all over, and that'll come soon enough, you'll realise how beneficial school was and you can then move on.
