Actually, I saw them first on Apple.com a week ago, right after the press conference in which they were announced

The new iPods:

http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodshuffle
http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodnano
http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodclassic
http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodtouch

I'm getting a 16gb touch and an 8gb nano

Do they have any special features that we should know about, over the original video ipods?
Besides being smaller.

The iPod Nano now has video.

The iPod, or as it is now called the iPod Classic, now has either 80gb or 160gb of storage.

Both those iPods come with new software, which includes "Cover Flow."

The iPod Touch is either 8gb or 16gb, it is completely touchscreen controlled and is basically just a phoneless iPhone.

Check out those links above for more.

Ah, I didn't know they'd been improving older versions.
I have a 50GB Video Ipod right now..which im finding impossible to fill. Ive got several films, many video clips, and thousands of songs...yet I haven't even used a quarter of its maximum storage.

So I might stick with that for now, although an iphone might be a good idea considering my phone isn't that impressive.

They look pretty good. I want one, but what with all the constant updates I feel as if they'll be replaced with something new really soon...
And then I'll be wanting that!
