I tend to shop at Waitrose because its easy for me to get to but recently I've noticed my money isn't going as far as it used to (a few months ago). If I go to Asda, which is more awkward to get to, I can buy the same shop for about £20 less.

I like Lidl and I'm glad they are doing so well, though I suspect inflation has encouraged more people to shop with them. The thing is, once you do start shopping at Lidl and realize the food is pretty good quality, you will go back again and again.

Lidl has the random trash aisle, how can Waitrose compete with that?

True O.W.
But the massive discounted
Veg and fresh Fruit
is fast and before the old folks even
look at at Waitrose.

Keep your eye on Some Poundland's
now also importing fresh Spanish fruit/Veg
in new FRIDGE Units
cheaper than everyone.
check dates - 5 days to use
make sure it is one pound before buying.
