Are we sure the competition always ends on the final? Having the final at the start of December is just a weird move because it usually fits nicely leading into the Christmas break and this especially doesn't make if they're still going for the Christmas charts

The competition includes tickets to the final on the 2nd December, if they play it tonight you'll see

Lol why does it matter it finishes on the 2nd of December I know it's like a nostalgia fest having X factor on at Christmas but it's not working anymore....chuck on its a wonderful life instead and maybe a bit of gremlins.

I think there's more pressure on the show these days to hit that christmas number one which fair play they did for years and it was allways a no brainier but recently acts aren't even hitting the top 5 so it's a bit of a smart move imo.

I do hate the 6 chair challenge though I hope they aren't extending it to 4 episodes like you said as it's tedious.
