The Nikki thing was because she was elligible to win, and was more controversial than Jon
The Shilpa thing made people see Big Brother as dirty and unpleasant show that they wouldnt want to be seen watching
It is without doubt these two things and the BB8 All Female Launch that killed Big Brother.
