Loads of people are gonna use the whole "bland" or "offensive" complaint over and over again, so I'm not gonna go there too much since it's an overused topic. Basically Mike is uninteresting, inaccurate to his disorder, and a way too extreme portrayal of it to be considered appealing by a majority of people. But I think even not counting all that, Mike still utterly falls flat for me. Unlike virtually every other protagonist in the series (including Zoey), Mike just isn't able to make any appeal standalone. His MPD gags are repetitive, his relationship is paper-thin, etc.

He himself is also EASILY the most hateable and unlikeable of all the quote-unquote "heroic" characters they've had on this show. He goes on the show after being strongly advised by both his doctor AND his therapist that it's dangerous for him and everyone else involved, he straddles along TWO girls for his own gain and is too much of a coward to make up his mind and caused their conflict to begin with, he repeatedly b**ch talks people like Scott before even meeting them, he completely keeps his multiple personalities under wraps out of his own cowardice, and ALL of this is included with nothing but high dosages of his whingy, drippy self-pitying attitude, CONSTANTLY trying to justify or excuse why he does such vapidly morbid things by either a) bringing his 'personalities' into it or b) saying he doesn't want to hurt Zoey's feelings or something stupid like that. I genuinely think he's the worst human being the show's ever cast and if he's not gonna get called out on it or repeatedly get comeuppance for being such a scumstain then where's the appeal at all?

The pinnacle of his gross behavior is the time during the AS finale, in which he steals Fang's shark tooth and tosses it onto his OWN helper Alejandro on purpose for no reason but to look cool and spring away while screaming "HAHA, SEE YA CAM!" And THEY'RE meant to be the villains here? He's just such a disgusting animal, I can't with him. Get out.
