Honestly some people really can't see a bigger picture. Ann was an mp between the 80's and the 90's and her views are that of a stout geriatric Catholic. Same sex gay partnership was only decriminalised in 1967 in England and Wales and in the 80's in Scotland and Ireland. Her old age thinking is hardly something to critisize with such large clubs in the grand scheme of things.

I've met many Belgiums who, no matter what I say detest German's with a passion regardless of personality. Is it wrong in this day? Yes but who are we to critisize, especially when the German occupation of Belgium was so ruthless.

Not really sticking up for Ann and her views but open your eyes and stop the sheeple attitude. Like the housemates discussed in tonights episode... She's an old fuddy duddy with some prehistoric views. Except in this analogy she is a dinosaur and we can't expect everyone from an older time to snap to today's standard overnight.

I think her attitude is plenty forgivable because she's clearly not an evil person.

People are taking offence that Ann's against gay marriage, and think that entitles them to talk about her in the most disgusting ways. She's a Roman Catholic. That's her belief. She has a right to be against gay marriage... just like gay people now have the right to marry. Not everyone agrees with everything, all the time. She has said several times, and in plain English, that she has no problem with gay people... only with gay marriage.
