She doesn't get accused of having strong feelings, strong feelings are great.

Nobody's said she isn't entitled to them.

Calling her bigoted isn't requesting she stop thinking the way she does. It's stating a fact.

But it gives the same result.

Whether her views are shaped by her childhood, her religion or a bad experience with gay people in her life, it results in her believing gay people are not entitled to equality alongside straight people. That's discrimination no matter where it stems from.

Disclaimer: I'm not holding Ann at gunpoint to change her views. She's entitled to them. Just as everyone else is entitled to comment on and question them.
