No, most of the people you refer to have supported gay HM's in the past if my memory serves me well - the gay HM's that go into the house and are just themselves without feeling the need to bring a soapbox in with them.
I think most of the discussion has come about because of the differing views of Shane J/Ann and Shane J seeming to push his own agenda for votes in the fashionable PC climate of today and using Ann to do it in an underhand way.
As for the 14 yr old that he brought up who would be watching and could be damaged because of Ann? If that 14 yr old were to see Shane J enjoying himself and not giving a fook what anybody thought of him as Courtney, wouldn't that give a more positive, inspiring message than any whining and gossiping about an old lady and her outdated views?
