people voted him in as their MP to represent him, so enough of them trust him to vote on their behalf. It's the peoples choice.

he has been around for long enough for people to boot him out if he didnt align with their wishes. He could have been deselected by his local party. He wasn't. I mean the same principles apply whatever party an MP is with. There are staunch labour areas that have produced MP's that I completely disagree with
