If a scanner - then go to a photo me booth - scan photo into PC

If a Fax Modemgive photo to a friend and get them to fax it to your PC

Or, buy a one film disposable camera, take photo of self and send it to a photo processor that will also put photos onto CD-ROM, ask for the cheapest photos and pay the surcharge for the CD-ROM.
