I think you could apply from home. Because I'm sure many people do, e.g. those who are home-schooled. Alternatively, there may be an institution from which those who wish to apply can do so through there. I would suggest ringing UCAS, but then they are known not to be the most reliable ever.

And I agree about what you say. It's not really insulting, seeing as it's the truth! I'll just have to see what happens, and not let things slip this year even though I'm not 100% sure if I'll be going to university in 2008.

Good luck with your applications, by the way. Where are you applying and for what course etc.?
