Yes. Over-reacting and risking a major international incident by poking and prodding at cold war tensions needlessly. These are not contradictory statements.

However at the moment I'm just more bewildered about the fact that this has been (here, and across the media) turned into yet another UK domestic politics playground spat. Just ridiculous . Great Britain, ladies and gentlemen .
