Yeah, YT's censorship/demonetization/other policies, etc right now is increasingly controversial. I'm pro-decentralization, so I don't think that people should be putting all their eggs in one basket if they're seriously dependent on a website for a livelihood... not a good way to keep a business up. And we can't always be dependent on a single website anyway... have known a fair few third parties to up and go out of the blue with people's portfolios on them.

Happens more often than people realize.
Still, I don't see how shooting up Google was a stellar idea... I'm kind of waiting to hear the rest of the story, because so far it sounds like someone just flipping out, heading to a store and shooting up the staff there because that person received very bad customer service (i.e. getting screwed on a large purchase)... sure, it could happen on that basis, but seems like there would likely be other factors too.
