They derided Milliband NOT because he was Jewish but because he was a HOPELESS PRAT of a POLITICIAN.

i remember Milliband on a live debate saying that he would not go in to coalition with anyone ... which is ok ... and then went on to say .... even if it meant he lost the election ... and that was the moment he lost all credibility and the election ... hopeless prat

I never understood why they chose him over the other brother who seemed to be much more self assured and together.

No matter how it's dressed up the Tories have lost popularity over the last few decades, if this was in the 80's for example I honestly don't believe that Corbyn would stand a cat in hell's chance against May as Labour was out of fashion at that point in the country and it wouldn't even be close, and imo that's because the Tories way of trying to get the Economy going is to punish select groups rather than punish everyone (I know that punish isn't really the word that I'm looking for but I can't think of it right now so it's a good substitute word) I also don't think that the younger generations will be on their side if they keep behaving so negative either and come off as so hateful towards the younger generations.

They did an article on his dead Father just to try and humiliate him.

You know that the Daily Mail did an article on Ed Miliband's dead Father over his opinions of Britain during WWII and then tried to twist it that you shouldn't vote for Ed Miliband.

Yes mock, the younger generation will get older and as they do so, they will change and vote for the tories. Young labour voters is not a new phenomena, it just reflects their priorities at their voting age.

As I've already said, the Tories will not win this generation over as they get older if they carry on calling them snowflakes, lazy, and make it hard for them to live in their own homes.

The Tory membership is also at an all time low, showing that yet again they're losing more popularity than when they was in charge during the late 70's and 80's.

Your comments are not reflected in the voting though. Don't be under any illusions. The result that labour got at the last election exceeded their wildest expectations because of May's mess up and they still lost. That will not repeat any time soon. Labour have to represent the whole population to win an election, and on their present course that's just not happening.

The idea is that as people get older and their salaries rise and they gather assets, they will become more protective of those things, and thus vote Tory for lower taxes etc.

What I'm not sure people realise is that the young people of today are going to grow up with nowt but lifelong rented accommodation, stagnant wages, and mountains of personal debt .

Labour only have to drop Corbyn imo and they'd win the Election, people have had enough of the Tories hence why even Corbyn got so many votes in the last Election.

And also the Media have done a hatchet job to both Miliband and Corbyn during Election time and the Tories still struggled to get more votes than both of them, that's not exactly a huge endorsement.

Fact is the Tories are very much stuck in "old Britain" (pre net generation) and they DO very badly need to modernise, at some point, if they're going to be a viable party once the people who actually remember "old Britain" are dead and gone.

However anyone who thinks that's an issue for the NEXT general election are being very optimistic. There are still people voting who remember rationing ffs . But, in the next 30, 40, 50 years... Both major parties are going to need to make huge changes in order to stay relevant.

It can be a bleak picture looking forward T.S. but I can only look back at the decades when I was growing up AND growing old, and all I see is the infinitely better standard of living EVERYONE has now and the infinitely better chances and opportunities for ANYONE to better their own personal standards IF they REALLY want to invest effort, time and hard work.

WHATEVER problems there are now - and THERE ARE plenty - life will go on and circumstances WILL improve.
