The end of a series of Big Brother inevitably means the launch of a new DVD cover.


I have to come out first and foremost and say I wasn't a fan of this year's series, and possibly a lack of emotional investment meant that I had a hard time deciding who would make the cast. Chloe as the winner and Mark were locks, and I went with Jack, Harry, Joel and Jade to round off the group, Jade was one I was a little borderline about considering her comparatively early departure, but she was a big character and as her late season return showed that she is held in high regard by the production team. I also have to say as well that the colour scheme for this series allowed me to use this dark teal scheme which in my opinion is rather appealing.

Feedback as ever is appreciated.

I gave myself the rule when I was doing the cover that I wouldn't have put any of the legends on. If they were legitimate housemates that could win the show then yes, but as purely guests then I overlooked it. If I did allow guests then Gaetano would probably be on the BB4 cover.

I'm trialling a new version of the BBUS DVD covers which incorporate the logo into the cover similar to the BBCAN covers, I've mocked up two versions of these to gauge your opinions and if they get the seal of approval I'll do the rest.

BB4: Jee or Dana?
BB6: Does Janelle get the Rupert treatment and stay top centre?
BB7: James over Chicken George?
BB11: Jessie on the BB11 cover? Or keep Michele/ Kevin and have all four cliques represented?
BB13: Keep the vets vs newbies theme of BB13 or ditch Jordan for Kalia?

Got a couple more done, as with last time the old design on the left, the new on the right:




A couple of notes from this batch:
-Kalia replaces Porsche as per the requests of many, but adding Kalia meant having to shuffle some people around as Kalia and Danielle together on the bottom row didn't look that good (they're both wearing blue so it looked like their bodies were joined together), so I had to shuffle but in the process feel like I've lost the 'vets vs newbies' design I had going.
- Britney and Rachel swap places in BB12 largely to try and hide Hayden's shoulders, plus I've scaled the images down slightly as the top row was getting a touch cluttered.
- I teased adding Jessie to the BB11 cover as he was arguably a bigger character then Kevin and Michele, but I wanted one of each clique on the design as per the twist of the season. Jordan got the popular slot (obviously), Jeff, Russell and Nat for the athletes leaving one brain (Michele) and one offbeat (Kevin)

Vanessa (most likely winning, the star of the season like it or not)
Shelli (dominated first half of the game)
Audrey (one of the best pre-jury boots of all time)
Liz (was a part of the twin twist, dominated early to mid jury)
James (was HoH twice, got major threats out, broke up the power couple)
Austin (despite being trash I guess he was a target multiple times and saved himself.

The fan fave John should be, but he's not deserving...
