Looking at this again, I'm stunned they went for a "British" eye, and didn't use the Tube Map patterns. At least then it wouldn't look like someone threw a copy of the Daily Mail into a vat of Skittles.

Would've been a great idea but I wonder if there're copyright implications with that design? Or is the tube map sort of given as a "public" thing that anyone can use or imitate in designs?

In the latter years of C4 Eastlock was only mildly better... As much as I look forward to seeing a new eye every year I think a static logo or a new eye shape would be a much better option...

Big Blagger's twitter header is apparently an alternate version of the eye which isn't generally available and honestly from what you can see it looks so much nicer...
