Many social media users have been keen to stress their appreciation for the TV channel.

One Twitter user wrote: “GB news is where you need to-our only channel of free speech.”

Another person commented: “GB news was the final bit of oxygen needed to stop wokeness smothering out rational debate.”

One person wrote: “You’re all brilliant, a fresh breath of air with no wokeness or snowflaking or the cancel culture idiots trying to change us ,carry on the good work ! Hip hip hooray GB News”.

Some background - the reason they received zero viewers was because they were protesting against the channel, because one of it's presenters took the knee during a program.
