I bet there was time when Pence actually thought he had a shot at the White House and Trump would either be impeached out or they'd invoke the 25th. I remember there was much speculation that the 'Anonymous' writing for the NYTimes was a top Pence aide or Pence himself. So sweet to see his shot at power gradually fade, he's even more scary than Trump IMO

Mr. Giuliani was expressing the desires of the President of the United States, and we knew that these investigations were important to the President.”

Guiliani thrown under the bus. Yesterday Volker was walking a very fine line between not lying and putting everything on Rudy. Volker was quite slippery but he did say the allegations against Biden are nonsense.

Surely Rudy's gonna try and clear his name or he's going to be facing charges

He's said it a few times but knowing Rudy he's probably lying. If he's got the goods on Trump I hope he spills but I think he'd have done so already if he truly has a defense.

If all implicated think they're getting a pardon, think again. This will drag on so long Trump will probably be out of office and on similar charges

Sondland seems like he doesnt care. He could have not testified at all or pleaded the fifth but instead he's dragging them all under the bu with him. He's said everyone was in the loop so that must include VP Pence and SoS Pompeo. They need to respond. It also means Volker may have lied yesterday.

He had to testify, because his previous deposition has been debunked in areas, so he'd be at risk of perjuring himself.

True, there was speculation that it'd be pure theater today and Sondland would refuse to answer almost all the questions, would be constantly talking to his lawyer and was only going to clear up the edited part of his previous testimony. Not at all, he's up there chatting away. I wasnt expecting this at all. He doesnt care who he implicates.

It's getting to the stage, where if you're not implicating others you're going to be the one implicated. People will get more desperate the more damning this gets.
