Two scenarios -

Either Trump really did lose the election, and whatever fraud that did happen was carried out by individuals, and was probably on both sides, so it cancelled each other out;

or the high level institutional level fraud runs so deep that it involves the people Trump is reaching out to, so he's still lost before he gets anywhere.

The first one is more likely, but either way the only thing he's digging into is a hole.

It's gonna be so funny on here when Trump is announced as President, again.

Hopefully it will be before Christmas, that would be a nice Christmas present (and a few quid) but I have a feeling it will go on until January.

Trump has lost, but yes also have a feeling this will go on until january, unless they are getting too tired of him and remove him by force from the white house

If that happened
I would buy you a New House.

Trump around 70million votes
Biden around 80 million votes

I feel I need to ask Alf; are you aware that if the election was found to be affected by errors/dodgy machines/fraud... ... it wouldn't mean that Trump won the election? Even if you prove that a tonne of Biden votes were illegitimate, you then have no idea how many Trump votes were valid either, and thus the election would be null and void - not a Trump win.

They would have to hold another election .

No

As I pointed out before, the election will be declared void and Congress gets to pick, which is mandated to vote along party lines, and the republicans are in the majority.

It will be Trump

Next step, the indictment of Biden and the rest of the UNDemocratic Party

I will admit it would be pretty funny if huge scale corruption WAS found, and Trump became President again ... But the USA doesn't deserve the riots that would follow.

If the election went to the House, votes are cast by state delegation. One state, one vote.

The Republicans have control of 26 state delegations

I think that is only if there is no majority in the Electoral College.

Quote:
.....Can members of Congress block the results?

There is no debate permitted during the counting of the electoral votes. But after the result is read, members of Congress get one opportunity to lodge their concerns.

Any objection to a state’s results must be made in writing and be signed by at least one senator and one member of the House. The two chambers would then separate to debate the objection. Each member of Congress can speak only once — for five minutes — and after two hours the debate is cut off. Each body then votes on whether to reject the state’s results.

Since the Electoral Count Act was passed in 1887, there have been just two instances of congressional objections, in 1969 and 2005. Neither passed either the House or the Senate.

What’s the likelihood of Congress changing the outcome?

Stopping Mr. Biden from assuming office remains a long-shot strategy for Republicans.

For an objection to stand, it must pass both houses of Congress by a simple majority. If the vote followed party lines, Republicans could not block Mr. Biden’s victory.

Democrats control the House, so an objection would already be doomed there. In the Senate, Democrats would need to pick off only a couple of Republicans to side with them to vote down the objection. A number of Republican senators have declared Mr. Biden the president-elect.

With some Trump allies already planning objections, the congressional session is likely to make for good political theater. But the process has little chance of changing the outcome of the election.

Anyone can raise an objection in either house to a result, but it requires a majority in both houses to then be debated, and that's not going to happen. I fully expect the gop to complain about the swing states, but it will be futile

The thing is if we just humour the Trump supporters for a second, where is the proof of fraud?
Is there any? Like can you show anyone that there was fraud?

You'll never get any proof, just excuses as to why they can't present it.

Republicans and their supporters are sore losers that are looking to eradicate democracy because it didn't go their way.

Trump will continue to vomit out absurd rants and allegations because he's a pathetic little orange that can't take an L
