It could be a lot more tacky for a show like LI, so I'm not really complaining about the simple design. Plus I'm not really that bothered about the villa design like I am with the BB houses.

Watch last year's series!

It's honestly more BB than C5 BB is. And don't let the 'showmance' thing put you off because it's nothing like BB showmances where they're just in bed all day, doing nothing worthy of note (that's just what people throw around to trash the show and make it seem worse than BB when they haven't even watched it ) Outside of the coupling up, each person is pretty much their own and it's pretty entertaining. The couples change around too and they get given tasks to do, which are better than the repetitive 'Eat a Kangaroo dick' or 'Who said this about ____?' tasks we get on BB. Plus their finals are great and feel an event.

Oh and if Caroline Flack's messy presenting and open shade of the Islanders (and the show itself) doesn't have you sold idk what will <3

Although that was more of a S1 thing as she was barely visible last year, but I have some hope

Thoughts on the launch:

LOVED it. Best launch of LI to date, hands down. Even better than BBs launch tonight tbh, didn't think there was a dull moment. I have a really good feeling about LI this year, the production is slick, the contestants seem full of promise and the villa is absolutely breathtaking.

Montana is my favourite at the moment. Something about her that's really charismatic, I think it's that sort of 'sarcastic posh girl' wit she has about her. Shame about Jessica happening and Dom. I really liked her and Dom as a couple too from what we saw, Jessica is coming across as a proper cow and I don't think she'll stand a chance if the first elimination is a public vote.

The others seem promising but didn't make much of an impact on me. Chloe in particular seems like she could bring some good TV to the table.
