Papers reckon Chelsea are in for Rooney now. I would actually be gutted if he does leave United and I cannot see Coleen wanting to go abroad, they have a young family to consider too.

Rooney should comment on this speculation soon as now, but I do find it strange how he has said nothing on the PSG/Bayern stories.

His agent Paul Stretford is a **** though.

Plus CR7 apparently said in Spanish after scoring for Real Madrid vs Malaga tonight that he is staying at Real Madrid, which kind of puts a dampen on the Daily Fail's article.

Can't see Bayern wanting Rooney. He doesn't have the fitness or stamina to play in a pep team, and he is on Ł220-250k/wk. PSG are the only team that could afford him.

Don't think he's fulfilled his potential tbh. He's won the medals, but does anyone think he's better now than in 04?

Now I am confused if the press are saying that Wayne Rooney asked for a transfer two weeks ago, which was turned down why didn't they print a story about it then and also why did some them then print stories saying he wants to stay at United?
