Apparently he was deliberately targeted by the two assailants , as he worked in the nearby Army recruitment office he was followed and then attacked as they knew he was still serving in the Army.

Got my haircut today and the old biddies were taking about this with the hairdresser. Old ladies were saying **** like 'we should send them all back, this happens all the time with them people' and stuff...and saying we should bring our boys home (that part I do agree with btw) and the hairdresser said that the only reason we are in their country is to stop them flooding our country with heroin (?!)

It was extremely hard to keep my mouth shut. I had skye with me so didnt want to cause a scene so I kept quiet. But the ****ing ignorance of some people is ridiculous.

While what happened is disgusting and I hope that the people involved get tortured and god knows what else, I think it's OTT of the people on Facebook that are saying all Muslims should be kicked out of the country, after all not every Muslim was involved in the attack and it's just a ridiculous statement.
