Aston was really impressive, I think he'll be one that will feel the pressure though as the series goes on, as his standard is already waaaaay up there. I was really impressed with Jonnie and Oti too.

the ones i enjoyed the most are

Davood and Nadiya's Cha Cha

Brian and Amy's Tango, yes at least he tried to pull off a serious tango for someone who is smiling everytime

Rev Richard and Dianne's Cha Cha, so so so funny

Debbie and Giovanni's Paso, wow Debbie slayed

Simon and Karen's Paso, for a non dancer never danced before Simon had good Paso shapes i thought, a bit undermarked though, although it was a bit wooden but a good week 1 Paso

Joe and Katya, wow what a week 1 jive, so energetic


i was disappointed

Gemma and Aljaz, Gemma seemed wooden i agree with Craig on that, i expected lots more from their first dance

Mollie and AJ, judges were right not enough Chemistry, all about Molly here a shame

slay she had one mistake but otherwise it was a beautiful foxtrot


Alex's waltz was dull, properly danced but just dull


Gemma's cha cha was also bland, and she was very wooden

Mollie was disappointing i expected a great jive from her, but we got one where she had the lead and AJ was just the backing dancer

yes she slayed and it was amazing

if you're looking for a dull waltz look at Ruth and Anton

Gemma was way undermarked and it didn't help that the singers were butchering the song

and I enjoyed Mollie's and the 4 from Craig was harsh

but Mollie's was not good, and Craig was right, i agreed with him he did like Joe's Jive which was really really good, Katya does it again with her choreography

Gemma was stiff in places, i can't see her going far, maybe Charlotte going a lot further than we all first thought

After yesterday's show I have two main fave couples Aston & Janette and Debbie & Giovanni but also really liked Alex & Gorka, Davood & Nadiya, Joe & Katya, Chizzy & Pasha and Jonnie & Oti

Joe's jive wasn't that good, and he did not deserve such a high score when people like Jonnie, Char and Alex were only around 20-24

Gemma could just be down to nerves, and I knew Charlotte would surprise everyone

and Debbie really a lovely classy Paso with italian flavours cause of the song


Aston did impress me, i first thought of him might do well in latin, not good in ballroom, but i come back at those words, and i think he might be a good allround dancer

Aston seems quite arrogant to me, I think that he'll do just fine with his dances.

For the first night though I felt that Debbie won, but that's probably because it was a Paso I don't know.
