253rd. Harriet Jackson (BB16)



I am appalled that people like Harriet.

Well, sort of. It seems to mostly be people who are nostalgic for a pre-#4in4out world, which I can understand. It’s a welcome contrast to the ‘EVERYTHING WAS WELL BORING BEFORE MARC’ school of thought, and Harriet’s an example of that. She wasn’t boring. Heck, if she was boring I might like her more. But it turns out that she just sort of sucked?

And she wasn’t setting herself up for a particularly strong start either. When you pull out the UKIP card about thirty seconds into your VT, don’t expect the crowd to automatically love you eith-no wait they did exactly that oops. That’s when I knew that BB16 might not be all it was cracked up to be (not that it was ever cracked up at all) – the likes of Harriet and Joel were cheered to the rafters. And since Joel ended up in second, god only knows where Harriet could have wound up had it not been for #4in4out. Yes, I’m going to keep insisting on hashtagging that.

So why didn’t I like Harriet? Well, she loved an argument to levels more than any of us could deal with (case in point: her argument with Danny that I believe went along the lines of “shut up!!!” “shut up don’t tell me to shut up!!!!” “well you can shut up and all!” “you shut up!!!” (her offence at being told to shut up was made slightly less valid considering she’d requested Joel to do the exact same thing mere moments earlier)), she’d burst into tears at the opening of an envelope which was funny in an Aisleyne-way at first but was soon not funny in a everyone-else-that-isn’t-Aisleyne way, I don’t recall her smiling once, and her main role in the house was to be the messenger between groups who for some reason decided it’d be wise to feed both sides of the house any information from the other side that she could get, which as far as tactics go is kind of a terrible idea?

And then she was evicted lol. My main gripe about her eviction was that she didn’t get the boos she deserved/was about to get because she was sharing it with Kieran of all people (also fewer people paid money to evict her than they did Amy & Sally, how do people like that even exist on this planet), but at least we got a good quote and an even better housemate (“oh yay you’re back!! ” and Harry Amelia respectively) out of the experience. Oh and she was kind of bitter about it on BOTS but less so than Sarah and we’ll save that for when Sarah is eliminated. Hopefully that’s sooner rather than later.

Oh and I'm saving Laura. Tee hee.

How apt that the worst winner of BBUK is the lowest ranking winner of this ranking. Where do we start with this bitch?

Helen came to our attention when Poz gave her a pass to the final on Day 2 (a rig idk) and no one really cared because she wasn't that bad at that time. However, come Day 5 in one of the greatest Live Feed moments ever, Helen truly let her nasty out in a vicious argument with Virgin Dani where she told a glamour model to 'get a wash and an 'airbrush, you fat bitch'. Her vile Danielle hate took a nastier turn when she stooped as low as to say that Danielle, a strict Catholic, should 'shut up and **** Jesus'.

Her nastiness prevailed and by Week 2 it was notated that she had clocked up 14 formal warnings by Big Brother - an astonishing feat from someone who was not even close to being removed from production.

Not only was she nasty, she was a bully. Prime examples of this come from always attacking Jale on her looks, calling her slugsworth etc, but she had no feud with Jale? It was between Pauline and Jale not Helen and Jale. Furthermore, her bullying Matthew was truly awful. Let me remind y'all. Matthew said one comment against the game they were playing in the lounge. Helen reacts by screeching 'FUCK OFFF THEN! BORE OFFF! BORE OFFF!' and the infamous chant 'ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT! ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT!'. Matthew then retreated to the garden then Hellen followed him. After more confrontation, Helen got straight into Matthew's personal space and continued to hurl abuse at him calling him 'pigeon chested' and what not.

The Ashleigh feud was also terrible for Helen as a housemate and led to Ashleigh rising in the public's estimation (no way would she have got 2nd otherwise). I think the epitome of Helen's hate came when the mob iconically chanted 'Get Jenny [her well publicised enemy] in!'

Yes she won and all but without that awful final pass she would have been out Week 1, forgotten about, and would not have ruined another series. Speaking of which...


BB16

When you don't think Helen could stoop any lower, producers shoved her into the explosive, game changing Timebomb bunker.

Well... on the very first night we knew the £100k changed nothing about Helen except maybe her nose. She openly told Nikki to 'fuck off home', she said in the Diary Room that she liked Jade more watching the feeds than at home but then still nominated her with willingness and glee.

As for her inside the main house she was even worse. She called out Victor for being a drug dealer with zero evidence at all just because he warned Marq to stay away from Helen. Moreover, her vicious fighting Brian reached a climax when she likened him to a rapist and a murderer - a new low for her and a show. This led Brian, a grown man, to visibly shaken by her comments. Brian then scaled the wall (ICONIC) and generated over 1,000 Ofcom complaints in under 24 hours. Good going sis!

The time finally came for Helen to leave, hopefully forever, and she left to one of the worst receptions on Channel 5, and by their standards that's something.

Mario Mugan (BB11)



I really don't have the energy to be writing about Mario right now but he was just a unfun bore, which is awful, especially in a series full on unfun bores such as BB11. He *randomly* became the mole in the BB11 week 1 task and it would have been better if he failed but unfortunately he passed and we were all subjected to 11 weeks(!!!) of him He never had anything interesting to say and always talked about like aliens and whatnot. What else... he had some weird love/hate relationship with Corin and he was obsessed with Ben and tried to turn him gay and it was really uncomfortable to watch. Then he somehow managed to come in third and ruined the third place goddess club (well Liam ruined it in BB8 but whatever).

Anyway Mario is really just a bore who outstayed his welcome
