Britney and Lady Gaga are rumored to record a song together, according to new reports.

Gaga's dad, who allegedly met Britney at the Grammys last week, chatted with Britney and told her how much Gaga loves her and would die to record a duet together.

"GaGa has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is,” a source told Britain's 'The Sun.'

"She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter."

I think GaGa would be good for Britney. If it was a single, then not only would get loads of promotion, an amazing video it deserves and a guaranteed high chart position worldwide, but it might also persuade her to sing live if they both perform it somewhere.

she has 20 uk top tens, so i wouldn't say she charts low. it was only the final 2 circus singles that did bad.

I hope she doesn't do a song with Gaga to be honest. Gaga's everywhere at the moment, I'm getting fed up of hearing of her. I love her music but it's like people are acting as if she's the new Madonna, which she isn't. But I can see the single happening.

the reason why her singles haven't charted well is cause its lack of promo did hardly anything over here for Circus, one performance of Womanizer wasn't good CONSIDERING it was her Comeback they should of at least booked a SOLID 5 shows for her to perform on, and maybe an Audience with.... Britney Spears would of helped and been amazing if put together well.

i dont think these Gaga Rumors are true either.

For this new album to be successfull she does NOT NEED gaga for gods sake what she NEEDS for this album to be a HUGE success its all going to be about how well she performs and promotes it. I think she really needs to perform at awards etc and chat shows.

Circus wasn't well promoted

none of my friends listen to britney as much as i do and when i said about the Circus album and tour they knew nothing about it, they knew she had an album because of womanizer on xfactor but nothing about the tour or any other singles from the album

as far as i know the singles didnt get much air time

yeah Old Britney. 2010 Britney is really not all that relevant in terms of charts and GaGa could really give her that push because she's not gonna get it otherwise.

we just wait and see, at the end of the day its all about album and how well they chart if the albums begin to flop then thats a bad sign imo but all britneys albums have entered top 10, ANd if you actually look at the sales of her singles they are fantastic Womanizer most recently sold fantastic,

i agree Barbie alot of people did not know about Circus tbh and her tour dont get me started not once promoted she could of at least said on x-factor oh im touring next year tickets go on sale friday etc but no her management dont bother
