Thank you, Ammi.
This time, my fat Charlie stayed home as Yko came twice a day to feed him. I knew he was much happier at home in and out as he wishes than in a dark small place in a cattery. In Japan, I did not have much time for myself. But in Hong Kong, I made up and had a great time even only for a few days. I am very happy to be back though. ![]() ![]()

Hi Ammi.
I have excursion trip details somewhere. When I find it, I will tell you exactly where I went. ![]() I am going to afternoon tea dance with Yko today. She will just keep my company. She has already dance shoes so one day she will dance as well. ![]()

I stayed two nights. One full day. I enjoyed Hong Kong more than in Japan as I did what I wanted to do rather than my schedule were all planned by my family in Japan. I will find some photo. I will talk to you tonight, Gypsy. ![]()

My first impression of Hong Kong was - construction is everywhere.
They are glowing rapidly and very proud of being main land China behind them. They are making express railway between Hong Kong and Beijing, They are going to operate high speed train between Beijing and Hong Kong ....I could not remember the details. I will have a look later. But one thing I did not like was air pollution. I do not mind brief visit for sightseeing but not staying too long. I had a full day excursion trip and one evening excursion. Other free evening, I went to a local dance school for group lesson. I had one hour "rumba walk" lesson and a half an hour samba movement. The teacher was a male Western Latin Professional competitor and he comes to Blackpool to compete now and again, some said. Flight was almost twelve hours and I had jet rugged for a few days. *These pictures are from google image. I picked them the one I saw similar. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was quite surprised that visiting this fish men's village was one of excursion boat trip.

Yes, Gypsy you must.
I thought Yokohama(port city) in Japan had quite pretty evening scenary before I visited Hong Kong, but once I saw the evening lights in Hong Kong, there was no comparison I am afraid. ![]()

Yes, Ammi
The first night, I took an evening excursion trip.(5 hours) Night Market, An hour open-top bus ride - galaxy of neon lights and Harbour cruise - while having buffet on the cruise, we saw the magnificent "A Symphony Of Lights" (awarded the world's largest permanent light and sound show by Guinness world records.) over the Victoria Harbour. After the meal, we danced (disco) live bands some people went to deck, enjoyed the night view of harbour. Following day, I had a full day excursion trip.(7 hours) Hong Kong movie industries, 5.7km Cable car ride to Polin Monastery - Buddhist temple, Museum Beneath the Buddha, Boat trip to ride to cruise around the old Tai O Fishing Village, The Cable car terminal - Ngong Ping Village and the Tian tan Buddha Statue. ![]() Then the night, I went to a dance school, just five minutes walk from the hotel I stayed, had a group lesson for one and half hour from a teacher called Lenny Gouwerok, Eastern European, who was a Professional Latin semi-finalist at Blackpool - learning how to walk technically "rumba walk" and some "Samba" with twelve local students. This is his picture with his professional dance partner at a competition. ![]()
