Britney Spears has been recording in the studio with DJ Tiesto, according to reports.

Rumours emerged that the Dutch DJ was working with Spears after her management tweeted that the pair had arranged a meeting.

Dutch newspaper ADNL has now confirmed that the duo are in talks to work together, quoting Tiesto's management as saying: "[The pair] have spent a lot of time together to find a sound."

DJ Tiesto remixed Spears's 'Piece Of Me' single from her Blackout LP. He has previously worked with Nelly Furtado, Bloc Party and Calvin Harris.

It is rumoured that Spears's new album will be released later this year.

I have heard any of his stuff before, What's he like?

To be honest, I think Jive will ignore her ideas again, and Britney will not leave them. It seems she has become complacent, I could be wrong.

i think she will i mean her break in 2005-2006/07 was a sign she wanted to go on her own direction i.e with the album 'Original Doll' Which Jive refused to support . Even Blackout It was Britneys own way. Circus was Jives way.

It's very clear she's changed since the 'Original Doll' era.

It's been said multiple times that this album will be electro but more urban (more like Blackout and less like Circus). But with producers like David Guetta and Tiesto it probably will end up being quite europop.

I can't see Britney leaving Jive. they make her job very easy, just go into a recording booth, do some average vocals and leave the rest to them. I don't think she cares anymore or is even interested in her work. It wouldn't surprise me if the new album is one of her last.

Britney CAN top Blackout she just needs the right songs, and what made Blackout Epic imo was the way the album is put together ALL very fast paced songs then a kinda ballad at the end, and the Promo Pics were just her best.

Britney doesnt just go in the recording studio and sing then leave she does have input but Jive ignore her, they should of released The Orginal Doll i mean with decent promo it would of done quite well maybe not America but we Brits love the sort of songs that were on Original Doll, americas fussy with them kinda songs just look at here charts full of Rap and RnB.

this new album should be good i have this feeling that it will be her best.

The recording of this album seems really all over the place tbh. We haven't seen her in the recording studio since January and the only professional news we are getting are competitions on Britney.com and new Candies photoshoots.
