Tonights show but especially his little teary episode at the end tonight has basically put him back in the running. All his past misdemeanours will be forgiven by the public as part of the whole saskia effect, and he's just given himself a great boost towards winning it.
I'm not making a comment on what was shown tonight but last week, when it was obvious Saskia would go - and by a fairly large margin as it turned out, I thought it was a little sad that these negative aspects were forgotton about so quickly.

A few drunken tears are not gonna wash over the way he's behaved in recent weeks. But the public has notoriously short memories when it comes to this (Jade?)

And damn James, you had me scared there. The way this place hs been recently, when I clicked the link and saw you quoting my post I thought I was in trouble!!!

LOL, good to see some civility return to the place though! (Oh, look at me, I sound almost a bit like Derek!)

Nothing wrong with being like Derek... he was a top guy with Craig... the mans got heart.

And not everyone will instantly forgive Maxwell or ever forgive him.... but at least the house is on a more even keel for a while, while his dark side remains hidden.

Derek might like the odd bitch but he is infact a decent guy, he never likes to see anyone upset and when someone is he will always listen.

Derek rocks!!

He should have left Craig to cry and rot on his own, but he didn't. (he's a better man than I am. I'd have laughed in his face and told him to eff off!! People like him bring out my nasty side)

Agree that the house is a bit more balanced, we've entered a free-love sixties style period! But with Maxwell not getting in into the full swing of things and shackled still to Saskia, he may not fit in well with the new spirit of free love in the house!

Good point... and dumping Saskia by entering into the fun wouldn't make him popular with the female voters out there. He going to have to play it carefully.

We will have to see if he pulls it off.

Maxwell looks like a caveman. From what Ive seen of the highlights he hasnt change that much. Its just this time hes going off to the toilet to slag off the other housemates rather then do it to their faces. And hes still arrogant towards Big Brother when being told off.

Yes, he can be amusing and I hope he stays in the house longer. I just dont want him to go on and win. It would be an absolute travesty if he does.

I could make a bawdy joke here about with Saskia gone all he can do now is pull it off, but I won't. I'm far too civilised to sink to such low brow humour.

maxwell is top entertainment.

i would like him in the final 4... theres a lot of people out there like like makosi more than maxwell so i think he'll have a competition.

science, derek, anthony and craig could beat him aswell

I, for one, won't forget the bullying and cowardly dark side either.

I'm sure the great British public however are more fickle.
