Some of the "big" names i saw i thought.. wow they are never going in. Only one i thought had slightest chance is Pamela.

These people already earn millions for doing very little, Cheryl got Ł500,000 for 12 photos of her for a calendar. For up to 4 weeks, 24/7 she's going to want a multi million deal! She's getting Ł2.5m for next year's X Factor which involves her sitting down for two hours every weekend making a few comments

And Lindsay.. really? People REALLY seriously thought she was going in? I'd love her to but come on! She's a Hollywood A-list star, she doesn't need some petty UK reality show no one is going to watch

A line up of two halves really. I think the male line up is actually rather strong and actually names I recognise. Crucially though, they're the sort of characters you could see them casting for a regular series too.

The female line up is the worst yet though - 4 out of the 5 are in no way celebrities, and the one that is wouldn't make it past the first stage of auditions in a regular BB.

Yeah, I agree. Males are definitely good but the female lineup is disappointing. Also no offence, but there's too many foreigners in the lineup. It'd be better to have more Brits in there.

they are probably tryin to target a wider audience, older people will know who ivanna trump & stephanie beecham are, whereas people who read the sport will know who nicola T is. younger people will no the russian girl from the press etc

People need to understand that Lindsay Lohan would NEVER do Big Brother. She is an A Lister who has a good career in Hollywood and is worth millions of dollars. Why would she suddenly do Big Brother?!

Now... Pamela is a possibility... after all, she did do the Australian Big Brother. But Channel 4 would need to splash out a lot of money on her... do C4/Endemol have that sort of money? Probably not.

I agree - it's not about foreigners, it's about having people who get the show and don't just see it as a pay cheque - so I'm fine with Basshunter as he's been on BBLB and Big Mouth a few times and on other things has come across as the sort of person who should be on it - but Heidi Fleiss - no way. Fine to bring in Americans if they're a big name (even if like Dennis Rodman they're a huge disappointment!) - but when it comes to the minor celebs at least go for the people the Brits will recognise, such as ex-soap stars and one hit wonders.

Pamela is far more famous than Lindsay Lohan, and needs BB far less. vinnie Jones must be skint though - amazed he's even rumoured for it, never mind looking set to be in it. I'll be hugely disappointed now if he isn't.

Why are Big Brother so persistant to put ex-girlfriends/boyfriends of celebs in the house? They should put more less-known TV personalities from UK (ones who aren't in work as much) rather than these.
