Really, I'm not laying into Craig (and it was his fault he was obsessed with Ant, who else's fault could it be) I'm laying into BB and Davina for that joke of an eviction and interview.

Craig was pretty much disliked by the vast majority of BB viewers, 96% of people voted for someone else. He was a nasty, bitchy, moaning little twit in the house, (now I'm laying into Craig) who thought the world owed him a favour and as most of the BB viewers seem to share that view, the interview should have challenged him on some of the things he had done and said in the house. Instead he gets an hour to collect himself (and who knows what he was told during that hour so no surprises in the interview), and gets a load of rubbish questions with Davina telling him at the end that he had been a great housemate. But he wasn't a great housemate, he was a little turd.

No we should keep Davina, we just need some proper questions, less of the sycophantic rubbish and get rid of the idiots who are paid to stand round the stage and cheer for whoever has been evicted.

If a person isn't liked then the interview should reflect that. They should be terrified of the post eviction interview cos all the bad stuff they've done should be brought up and they should have to explain it. Especially when it's someone like Craig who was generally disliked by the vast majority.

I'm still fuming from that interview last night and it has soured this whole last week of BB for me.

I don't think there really was an hour gap between the eviction and interview - the interview was recorded and shown later, I believe.

The reason for this I think is that, for a Wednesday eviction, they have to finish the show earlier (to comply with their entertainment license).

My take on the interview style is that is should be light-hearted - Davina doesn't do Paxman-style grillings very well and that type of interview would come across as very awkward.

the interview had nothing to do with anthony lol where you going the interview wasnt exactly good, i didnt atually turn ma chair around to watch it i carried on facing the pc but other interviews i put away up for msn and turned around

Well I disagree with the light-hearted stuff, I just think the interview was far too soft on Craig, and my blinding hatred of Craig demanded that he be called up on some of the rubbish he said and did. Ok, firstly I should apologise to poor Dermot. The interview on BBLB was actually quite pressing, he asked a good few difficult questions and Craig made himself look like a right pratt. No ego massaging going on, and Craig's mum embarrassed herself with the same old rubbish about how he'd been portrayed. And giving him the training bra was a classic, kudos to whoever sent that in!

But there was no help from BBLB about the possible hour gap in the middle. In fact when they showed footage of it they showed the time on the screen and the interview was at 9.35 which would suggest there was a hour gap between 8.30 and 9.30 and the press conference wasn't until 10.45 which would suggest the interview did take place at the later time of 9.35. But neither of these are conclusive either way.

I'm still well pissed off though, but not as much as I was yesterday. The pain dulls with time....

I don't think that the reason he didn't say it was because of his parents! And why would his parents be embarrassed that he was gay anyway - it's not a crime, and I think they probably worked it out from watching the show!

Jonathan Ross would be brilliant - and would definitely ask the questions that people want asking. I don't think there's enough money in the world to get Jeremy Paxman presenting Big Brother, but it would be soooo funny to see (loved your post about the imaginary interview by the way)! I think Russell Brand would be great at doing the main show!
