Shhh. We'll see soon enough.

Everyone voting Tories is either a millionaire or an idiot, you cant blame Gordon Brown for inheriting the gulf war or an American banking scandal that effects every country, there is nothing Labour/Tories or Lib Dems could have done. (actualy there is & gordon brown tried to do it years before but no one listened)

I think your all forgeting about the golden days of Maggie Thatcher, cant see Cameron being much better.

Agreed. *Although* not all :P I didn't forget.

Conservative broke it. Labour didn't fix it. Liberal need a chance and if that can't come from being in power alone then a lib-lab coalition all the way i say.

And you remember those golden days do you?

Do you remember the previous government to hers? Can you remember the glory days of random power cuts, rubbish being left in the streets for weeks. Bodies not getting buried. Rail strikes, local government officers strikes , in fact all sorts of strikes. Runaway inflation (peaking at about 27% or somesuch). IMF bailout.

Oh the good old labour days eh?

If it hadnt been for Maggie this country would have collapsed economically.

Now after Gordon has been robbing Peter to pay Paul and left the GB taxpayer up to their eyes in debt. Whoever picks up the problems and manages to sort them will be villified worse than Maggie simply because its going to be painful to lots of people.

Mind you if Gordon does cling to the reigns of power by some miracle (the Lib Dems and all the other smaller parties backing him, a few Tories deciding to back him as well). He will also have to make cuts in spending. Nasty viscious cuts. Dont think he will just hit the rich, or healthy businesses.

What an ignorant statement. I vote Tory and I am working class from a council estate and believe that nobody in this world is responsible for ME, unlike the feckless, workshy generation we now have who think the world owes them a living, and that being on welfare is a career choice.

I remember the golden days of Maggie Thatcher when she stared down the arrogant, bullyboy unions that were crushing this country. The Labour Party could not control their paymasters, hence the winter of discontent and the disaster that was Callaghan. I remember she took us to war to defend British citizens in the Falklands (and won), unlike Blair who crawled up Bush's backside and lied to us about WMD so he could wage an illegal war in Iraq. I remember she helped poor kids get Assisted Places at good schools, and enabled working class people to buy a home for the first time under Right to Buy. She believed in controlled immigration, and every citizen who was able to, contributing to society.

Have you any idea what an unholy mess Thatcher inherited in 1979 caused by incompetent Labour governments with their unworkable socialist agendas?

Personally, I think anyone who voted Labour this time round after 13 years of evidence that their policies do NOT work, are the idiots. Fortunately the majority of voters agree with me because Labour DID NOT WIN, didn't even come close. So now Brown - the UNELECTED PM foisted on us by war criminal Blair and his gang - has been told to ***** off by the GBP.

Yes. He quite clearly does not have the right to be Prime Minister. His party has lost seats all around the country, their biggest loss of seats since 1931.

Yes, The Sun is the epitome of brilliantly written articles and journalism.....

I don't like Labour but posting Sun headlines is no way to get your point across, It's as High brow as Jenna Jameson's CV.

Yeah, because I did a whole paragraph saying how much I love it.

Stop trying to discredit me by putting words into my mouth. I hate all red tops and I don't bother with any of them.

EDIT: Also I've said multiple times that I support Libdems, I don't really like Labour how it is currently but I'd accept anyone over the Tories.

So all in all you got nothing right in that post....

The sun is pathetic, at the end of the day if they wanted their god cameron as prime minster he should have won the seats tories needed. But no they didnt, so for now he is still prime minste, and will always be a better one then cameron. Cameron and the tories will ruin then econmy.

So to madam x's question, No I think Brown should remain prime minster.

Cameron can't ruin an economy that is already ruined by 13 years of Labour overspending. As of the weekend, Alastair Darling (although technically now just the Shadow Chancellor) was still spending our money by making deals to prop up the Euro which is NOT our mess. Brown is merely the caretaker at No.10 till Cameron moves in, - he has no power to do anything (come to think of he really didn't have the right to do anything before since he was UNELECTED). If Labour is so bloody wonderful why do you suppose the GBP decided they were LOSERS? Even if Labour had the chance to do a deal with LibDems they STILL wouldn't get enough seats for a majority!

Don't be a bitch Arista, Like Shas said in the other thread Cameron's gonna have a hard time and he'll have to make unpopular decisions. Chances are you won't be as cocky by the next election.
