It's a BUN! A teacake has currants in it! haha i had this debate a while back with someone from Blackburn who called them teacakes, I wouldn't go into a shop and ask for a bacon teacake....they'd look at me daft! I'd ask for a bacon BUN!

My bf is a born and bred Scouser and I've never ever heard him call it a batch lol, he calls them barms same as people in Manchester.
