Yes, but in comparison to all the other great sporting achievements it really shouldn't have featured that highly, you know? So many other moments that were just as fresh in people's memories (Redgrave). It's not a question of comparison anyway; just trying to illustrate the fact that you regard them as your old enemy and love to beat them, that's all.

Can you link me to this Poll? and People are obviously going to vote a footballing moment much higher then a rowing achievement by steve redgrave.. football is in the biggest sport in this country.. Rowing probably ain't even in the Top 20

and important in terms of population, contribution to the economy, land mass, etc.
