The whole point of going into the BB house is to try to stay in as long as possible. Therefore, they are all trying in their own way to be in a group otherwise they can be picked off by both groups.
Govan started as soon as he went in counting up his team. They saw what happened last year and the fact that Lisa lasted right to the last week shows it can be done.

Ben is very nervous of groups and he has handled Mario mauling him quite well.
If anything it is JJ who is the biggest playing even his attacks on Rachel is to get noticed. He probably thought for a change for BB someone attacking a pretty girl instead of hopping into bed would be more interesting. It was getting boring watching people pair up just for TV.

Well, Ben got his own gang and it is much more powerful than the 'feminists' or 'smokers' groups.

yeah, I agree that it's harder to pick an overall team to like this year due to them both containing likable and nasty characters. I think thats why I don't like either and supporting the outsiders more.

the Nerds are definitly in a position to own this series though.

yeah, it was, with them all sitting in the hut, which Ben has decreed to be the place where they all (including Steve) are to go for little nightly meanings from here on.

If you havent, and you didnt see him rally his troops and move to recruit JJ, then you have to understand that this is a whole new Ben we are looking at. He has changed dramatically in the past 24 hours.

Maybe google the word 'Machiavellian' if you want an insight into Ben, if you don't know what it means ofc.

Dave hated Govan,yet still was crying that he wasn't his friend asking 'He's closed off to me,how can we get past it?'He has the aura of popularity which is the most important thing in the house,and Ben doesn't.

Ben would be destroyed by Govan if he openly came up against him,and it would end with Ben begging for forgiveness YET again,just as he did with Sunshine, and Shabby.

Whatever,this 'who's the strongest' will be settled when they finally do have a showdown.

I disagree here though...

Ben has a solid group of allies. A lot has changed since Dave had a run in with Govan.

Govan WOULD win the face to face, agreed, but that just means he would be up.

In fact, sitting here right now as things are, I would put a lot of money on Govan being up next Friday anyhow. Ben has already marked him to his group as a major problem.
