7ft isn't that big for an X-mas tree, though. It's big, don't get me wrong, just not massive.

Lol i used to have a smaller (6ft) one but the 'kittens' destroyed it - they used to climb up it and sit in it until it fell down, but they are older now and don't seem to have the energy to climb up it...yet!

There is not a speck of tinsel in my flat

Not a twig of any tree

That is how I like it

With everything going pear shaped recently, I just want this dreaded season over.

God we really need to get our decorations up in our household! We've always had a green tree, but it might be cool to have something wacky like a white one for a year!!

Black Christmas trees are, apparently, all the rage this year

Has anyone on here got one of those?

A 5ft black fibre optic one in Argos sells at Ł34.99

I got so excited today that i was putting up my decorations!

I went up to the attic to get them - They were all ruined!

They were all wet - They ALL had to be thrown out!

We have a christmas decoration from when my Great-Grandmother was a kid! - Its had to be thrown out!

We have to get all new decorations!

Personally I would not bother

I do not see the point of them, you risk life and limb to put them up

They get in the way

You risk life and limb taking them down

I haven't put up any decorations, or bought anything. Yet.

It seems like a lot of work.
