I'm sure you wouldn't be so blase and unfeeling about death if it was a family member who had died so young and left small children. I just think it's crass to make such a comment about a young woman who didn't have a great start in life, but still managed to succeed (by the standards of our materialistic society) by exploiting what few opportunities she had.

And you cannot deny that there are women alive today who would not have been, had she not brought prominent attention to the necessity of regular screening for cervical cancer.

i didn't particularly like Jade, but nobody deserves to have that happen to them. I think you are being very insensitive InOne.

If Jade's fame in her death has helped just one other lady who has suffered or been made aware of the same disease, then she deserves to be left alone and to rest in peace. A friend of mine i've known all my life is terminally ill from cervical cancer, and it is heartbreaking.
