I am not anti religion, I see the value of it to both individuals and society, and I respect it.

I am anti exploitative profit making counterfeit religions and cults though, which is why I am anti Dave.

Oh look he is not the devil incarnate, he has his beliefs and he gobs off about them night and day but it is very telling that he doesnt feel his beliefs would compare favourably if challenged therefore he cant be forced into airing them properly.

If he knows some of his core beliefs are unpopular or seen as unfair he is very unlikely to be wholly truthful. That being the case as far as I am concerned neither the religion he purports to represent nor his character are worth all this hand-wringing. He is just another nutter wanting his 15 minutes of fame at any cost.

What do you base your claims about him on tho?

have you seen his bank account or the "church" bank account? Does he live in a massive house while his wife sits on her butt not earning with a lot of flashy material things round them or something?

What gives any of us the right to say anyones strong felt religious views are about a "counterfeit religions" ?

All I see is a guy who i disagree with on a religious front but I strongly believe he has as much right as the rest of us to express his views. In that way we can see what, in our opinion, is false and what is not.

But for some it has descended far from that to personal hatred just cos he is a contestant on a gameshow

I get that you are arguing your side from a good place Stone, but not every cult and counterfeit religion deserves to not be questioned imo.

Reading his Bible for an hour a day was a take off of Baldwin who was on CBB.

I am suprised BB did not check him out more thoroughly especially when they knew that Steve was to be in there.
