I feel sorry for his girlfriend, because people seem to be encouraging Preston to dump her for Chantelle.

I think he was looking sad because he realised it was all coming to an end. I believe that he has been telling himself, all through the BB experience, that his relationship with Chantelle is just friendship but knowing it's all coming to an end realises that his feelings may run a little deeper than that. When speaking about her on BBBM the way he looked at her told it all. During his interview with Davina he didn't talk, or look at his girlfriend in the same way. I think going in the house he realises perhaps his current girlfriend isn't really true love.

I agree tali that was my take on the situation as well I think he was sad cos he knew that unless he sorted things out he would not be seeing her every day they way he was in the house and I get the inpression that he doesnt like having to confront thigs directly and on BBBM he looked at her with adoring eyes and even said the loved her but whether he meant as a friend I dont know but if he did then he is trying to fool himself

I think perhaps he wanted his girlfriend to dump him so that he could be with Chantelle.he did say he didn't like ending relationships so perhaps he thought she'd do the job for him.
The no comment was another attempt at putting her off.
I really think the way he looks at Chantelle says more than what he says to her.If he's so attracted to Chantelle then his relationship wasn't meant to be.I do feel sorry for his girlfriend a bit but we don't know what the relationship was like before he went into the house.
I noticed on The Sun's newspaper site it says he said later he was going to marry his girlfriend and Chantelle could be bridesmaid
He said he fancied Chantelle but was sorry because he was already taken.There's no mention of this in the paper.
They've put it as if it's a quote but they aren't the best for telling the truth are they so who knows
I think he should settle things with his girlfriend and then get together with Chantelle.If he's fallen for her there's not much he can do about it now and it would be great to see them get together.
There is more chemistry between them than there was with Lee & Sophie BB3 and he had a girlfriend and look at those twoI never thought they would last.
I don't need to mention the other BB couple I always knew they would be together and that started in a very similar way

I seriously doubt Preston's girlfriend intends to dump him when she turns up at the finals evening. And she was suppose to have fled the country in tears according to the papers (another lie).

The edited highlights and tabloid speculation has made Preston's relationship with Chantelle to appear more than it actually is. Look at the Daily Star (surprise, surprise) and their headline the other day about Chantelle wanting passionate sex with Preston when they're out (yet abnother lie).

Aren't you bored with all this tabloid gossip and obsession with a Paul & Helen style romance? We really have become a shallow nation of people to concern ourselves with such pointless drivel. Its pathetic.

If Preston's girlfriend has got any self respect, he's been dumped. And I bet that if he gets together with Chantelle, he will live to regret it. I should imagine that she would get very boring, very quickly, as her head seems to have very little in it.

But this happens in real life everyday.People split up.I'm sure being in that house gave the time to think about their relationship.
I know Helen said this and she also said that even without Paul her relationship would have been over with her boyfriend
It was just that she couldn't tell him as she had no contact with him.Look at the way their relationship turned out.
I'm not saying it's right to cheat but if the relationship was brilliant when they went into the house I'm sure there is no way it would have happened.

Chantelle got such alot of votes, that's alot of people that do like her.

I do believe that people can't help who they fall in love with. It's a chemistry thing. I do feel very sorry for Prestons girlfriend though, that must have been very hard watching them on TV like that.
