I find them to be a dime a dozen, there's always a few Leonas every year but Aiden's unique in the X Factor. You don't see the Signer Songwriter quality he has that often in the show. The only people that spring to mind that could be considered similar was Tabby & Diana in the audition stages. I'd rather have imperfection but interesting rather then same old same old.

he kind of reminds me of Florence and the machine in that she is also quite intense, i couldnt listen to her on my way to uni, but occationally when i want to sit and listen to it its really good. He is a good singer, just intense so not so good for general listening

now im the other way round as i think diana got away with some terrible performances like with or without you and call me.

It depends how you view it - I wouldn't say he looks 'scared ****less' but he does look very awkward and vulnerable, but I love that about him. Some people don't, some people do. You can't say whether that's a flaw or not - it's matter of opinion.

I admit that his performances since Mad World have been a bit dodgy (Diamonds Are Forever might've been good, but I can't watch it again to see due to my intense hate for that song) but I still prefer his voice to other contestants with more consistent voices - Treyc for example. Although Treyc technically has a better voice than Aiden, it's just deathly boring, and Aiden's voice is unique and I much prefer listening to it than the majority of contestants on the show.

I think the problem lies in the fact that Dannii's been giving him the wrong songs. He has the kind of voice which needs the right songs. I think that most of the contestants with 'the best' voices sound good whatever they sing. People with voices like Aiden sound fairly dodgy when singing a song that doesn't suit their voices, but sound incredible and far more brilliant than the average 'best' singers when singing a song which suits their voices.

I think Mary and Treyc are just mediocre good constantly, whereas Aiden moves erratically from brilliant to awful and back again.

Throughout the audition process when he got to choose his own songs, his voice was beautiful. I could listen to it forever. Dannii just needs to give him a song which suits his voice. Personally I'd love to see him perform David Grey's This Year's Love again, but in full. That was so incredible I think I forgot where I was whilst he was performing it.

I never liked Diana Vickers much, as to Aiden, well Dannii is getting something right in the publics eyes.

He has had 2 weeks now of Cheryl really starting to slam him,totally unfairly I would say too,Simon had a go too this week, still though he has connected with the public.

Most people I speak to, have loved his performances,of course there are people who don't like him too but then they were never going to say anything good about him at all just as I would never have said anything good as to Belle Amie,who rightly went this week at last.

I hope Dannii varies his songs and I am sure the themed weeks will demand that anyway,but despite all, he is connecting with the public still and it seems where I am anyway more and more come to like him as the weeks go by.

I just love the intensity of his peformances, I love his voice, I would buy his recordings now so if something isn't broke why try to fix it,I do agree a bit more variation will be needed to hold the support strong but I do think Dannii and Aiden will deliver that in the weeks to come.

Yes but in my view he could sing anything, whether the voting viewers like his original takes on the songs he does is another thing though, so far they have but yes, he could do that song and really well.

He needs to balance things up a little. It shouldn't be dark and intense ever week. Louie says on DS that backstage Aiden acts "distant". That, plus the Kerry Katona gurning, has me a bit worried about what he's smoking.

The intesity worked on Mad World. He needs to find the right song which he clearly hasn't these last two weeks.
