A bit OT, but that's why I just don't get this Friends Renunited site bollox - the long-time friends are those who made the effort with me to ensure contact no matter what - the rest of childhood/shool people I don't give a monkey's about

Why I never joined Facebook or any of that crap. If I make friends I do it for life and they know how to contact me (email/phone etc) I don't need a social networking site to reunite me with someone I fought for a skipping rope with and proclaim we were friends forever

Someone I went to school with for 5 years until 09, and used to sort of be friends with, died last week suddenly (he was fine the morning he died). Looking over his facebook and seeing all the messages to him makes me a little sad
