Not only was she a great beauty and a great actress (in the right film) but when AIDS was considered a 'dirty' desease that 'only affected gays' she stood up to be counted and raised $millions, whereas other stars like Joan Collins and Donna Summer just pointed and blamed and turned their backs away.

Found out about an hour ago. Had no idea. She's had some life. Sadly a lot of it struggling with her health. Hope she's at peace now x
